What am I cooking? (5)

I thought I knew what it was but now I don't! It can't be steak a kidney pie (potatoes don't go in that). It can't be beef hotpot (no kidneys/liver in that). I get the feeling this is very obvious but I'm just not seeing it!

That's the kind of dish more suited to the weather we have in the UK right now compared to the weather you have.

It was 14 degC last night. My little toes were almost frostbitten!



We don't have any form of heating here except for the cooking gas.
