What are you wearing today (2020-2023)?

In a shopping center just North of the mall that Nordstrom occupies, is a Nordstrom Rack store, and a Macy's Backstage. They are the overstocks and clearance stores for their respective full-price stores. The full-price Macy's is also in the mall with Nordstrom.

BTW, I think these men's sneakers from Italy have "you" written all over them.

Nah…I don’t care for sneakers/trainers/tennashoes (local term) generally, but the piped cake frosting along the side just doesn’t work for me.

If they were $12.50 instead of $1250.00?
Shoes…I’ll spend some money on shoes!

Since my eating schedule was so wonky yesterday, all I had for supper last night was a granola bar.

They'd better be life changing, omg shoes for $12 500.00.
Ok, I wouldn’t spend that for shoes, but I’d go into the several-hundreds if I really liked them…but then I’d be afraid to take them outside!

I think I mentioned on here before forcing MrsT (contrary to popular belief, the T stands for tightwad ) to buy her work shoes at Nordstrom, because as an airline gate agent, she was on her feet for hours on end, and after shelling out a few hundred dollars with much protestation, she finally admitted they were the best shoes she ever had.

I understand full and well the value of well-made shoes. I have several pair that I have had a long time and they were not inexpensive, but worth every penny.

Forgot to add this little gem yesterday. With my weight loss comes some challenges. GF says don’t be so cheap and buy yourself some new work pants. I know I’ll probably be filling them out again by Christmas. Thankfully, people can’t see my fashion sense in all of it’s glory. I wear an apron over them all day.

I'm still in my night attire, LOL. Going to shower and get dressed shortly, I have some housework to do today.

Edited to add: I did some of my housework in my nightie, not like anyone could see me except my husband. But I showered and am getting dressed shortly. I managed to get the bathrooms cleaned and brunch dishes done, but I have to go outside to shake out the area rugs by the door, so need to wear clothes for that, LOL!

“Loops?! I don’t need no stinkin’ loops!”

I was planning on showing you lot the whole outfit today, but I am not going to the fair again and am in too much pain to dress up. Will do so when the pain has subsided and take some pics then.
Looking forward to it. I hope you’re able to soon!

He looks sad but he's just very awkward in pics
He doesn’t look sad…that’s just part of his overall medieval look. They had plague, never-ending wars, huge wealth gap…hey, wait a minute, why does that sound familiar?!?!

Here, big roasted turkey legs are the de rigueur food item at the ren faire, so I’ll wish him a happy day and may the biggest turkey leg be his (if that’s a thing there).

Hey, everyone dresses how they like and there´s no way any of us can influence or change that, so, fantastic.
I hate shoes. When I lived at my FIL´s in the 90s - 2000, he used to go nuts because I walked around barefoot. Can´t blame him; he was born at a time where everyone wore suits and ties all day long, even when the outside temperature was in the high 20s(C) - 70s-80s (F).
In Caracas, I used to wear shorts and a T-shirt. Currently, in the UK, it´s shorts and a T-shirt.
At my aunt´s funeral 3 weeks ago, my mum (94) said: "Have you got a suit?"
I said "No way. No-one is going to wear a suit; times have changed. What´s more, your sister asked everyone to wear something pink. Can you see me in a pink suit?"

My husband is in his mid 50s and he always wears a suit to funerals and so do most of his cousins, even the younger ones, although sometimes they will wear just a dress shirt and nice slacks in the summer if it's really warm or hot out. It might just be a cultural thing since they are all Italian-Americans.
