What did you cook, eat or drink today (October 2018)?

This evening was curry night. The curries we are used to are normally in thick heavy cream or butter sauces these were dry but so much flavour and the dhal was delicious, chapattis were not oily which is the norm in our part of the world.

After dinner we sat in the bar and were joined by a lovely couple from America, she is originally from Ireland and his family from Turkey, a fun evening chatting but also learning about other cultures.

I really wish @detroitdad would put what his dishes are. Sometimes it's easy to tell, sometimes impossible. Can't "like" something if you don't know what it is!

Today’s Sunday baking. Apple muffins. Have a glut of apples so am trying to find different ways of using them up. Have also got a crumble in the oven.

yes, French onion soup and mac n cheese. I ordered the mac n cheese to take home for lunch on Monday.

Scary colour chicken, onions and mint yogurt “sauce”. Just realised I also did have a bit of Bombay potato.

OK - I got it now! It was the potatoes and the way the sauce was drizzled over the top that threw me. It looks great!

My "plan" today was egg, beans and chips but I didn't have any yoghurt and my wife was involved in some religious festival so I reverted to stuffed jacket potatoes with middle cut bacon.
