Rollmops. That's what I had. Saw them in M&S (dont usually shop there) and just fancied them. Husband had emergency sausages and broad beans from the freezer.
Must do a proper shop tomorrow!
 
I just realized I made another scaling mistake with the beefsteak recipe. I purposely doubled the recipe, with the intention of freezing half of it for another meal later on, but when I went to portion the meat mixture, I looked at the recipe, saw it said to divide it into fourths, so that's what I did, forgetting I'd doubled it, so it should have been eighths.

I kept thinking when I was frying them, "Geez, these things are huge. I don't remember them being this big when I made them before!" - well, dipshi*, that's because they weren't! :laugh:
