Those remind me of my favorite appetizer from TGIFriday's back when they were good. Like in the early 1980s. Nothing like your recipe, but they would pack a spicy cheese glop around the broccoli floret, then batter and deep fry them. Lordy, they were good! Yours look good, too, in a different way. I'd probably mix up a spicy cheese sauce for dipping....I also decided to make this to give me a vague idea that I was having something healthy for lunch:
