@Lullabelle and I have been in Greece for the last week, so much fantastic food. Lu has some photos to post, but here is my final meal on thr island, eaten in the shade of the Plain Tree of Hippocrates in Kos town.

A simple souvlaki, where the pork had been slow cooked for 12 hours before skewering and finished on a grill. So much flavour, so much happiness on a plate, and a local beer to wash it down.

Slight variations out of the Persian cookbook. Porterhouse lamb chops marinated in a mix of cilantro, preserved lemons, garlic, s and p, and olive oil, then grilled. Side was couscous with roasted red and yellow bells, zucchini, red onions, plus more preserved lemons, black garlic, and a dressing of cilantro and olive oil, s and p of course.

A salad of chopped cabbage, kale, and romaine with dried cranberries and sunflower seeds in a pomegranate dressing.
Then, leftover (frozen, very freezer burned frozen) Korean bbq beef, fresh kimchee, pressed fish cakes.
