What did you cook/eat today (November 2019)

Today, I am making half a pig's head. Yes, you read that right.
When we would butcher a pig when I was a kid, we'd always cook down the head to get all the little bits of meat off.

I'm sure I have at least one cookbook here that calls for a pig's head. I'll have to look that up.

What did I eat today? Mind you, it's very difficult to guess

I'll post it [a warning, heads up (ahem) when done.]
:roflmao:
Otherwise, I'm also eating leftover west African peanut soup with chicken - which I should post a recipe for here later on, as well. At any rate, this recipe includes the peanut, chicken, broth, tomato, collard greens, onion, cumin, a hint of hot pepper, ginger.

That look very good indeed. I like the colour.

Oh, darling, it was just perfect. The absolute best thing before the girls join me later for a bit of needlepoint and badminton! :)

Divine. Please, dear, tell them I'm waiting for them tomorrow for our usual Saturday afternoon bridge play, then tea and jello cake!
We'll have lots of fun! :coffee::geek:

We call it Braun here. Set in a gelatine setting. My nan used to make it. I love it.
