I’ve never been much of a baker. I LOVE The Great British Bake-off. Hats off to those that can do it.

I turned leftovers into a pot roast mushroom and gravy sandwich.

Date night out:
I’ll say, those were the best fries I’ve had in as long as I can remember.

It was very good. All of it was excellent, really, except the atmosphere - just horrible. Cement floor, all one level, so no visual interest that way, very..industrial tables/booths. Harsh, harsh lighting. Felt like I was sitting in someone’s garage.
Shame, too, because whoever owns that place spent some money to smarten it up, but it’s just all wrong. The funniest bit, and I almost took a pic to post here: remember that pic someone posted a while ago of the kitchen stove and the hood over it was off-center by about a foot?
I went into the restroom, classy black and white tiles, white porcelain old-style sink, old-fashioned faucets, Edison-style bulbs…and the damn light fixture over the mirror was about six inches off-center. Again, someone really tried to get a good look going, but they just fell short.
