Thank gawd DH didn't notice and really didn't have much of an appetite after seeing the Doctor.
For my side, I chose Potato Salad

Not very good, but I was staving!
I hadn't eaten all day!
AND it was a good thing that I asked for the Honey Mustard on the side

IT WAS CHEWY!!!

Me too! Because there was an egg (but likely not a duck egg like Yorky did) but then the "Thai". Sad. I miss seeing his posts.

It was OK. The chips at least were not, unlike my burger. Good thing it was plant based because it was barely lukewarm.

Made Sweetcorn and Coconut Chilli Soup with Black Sesame Chicken.
It was a good to be back cooking even if it was sat down hovering over a hob plate on a coffee table but the food gods were on my side and it went well.

The chilli was mild and fruity so I sliced some up paper thin for the topping.
Mr SSOAP loved it, said it was better than anything you can get in a restaurant, which was nice but I think that's what comes of him having to feed himself for a while
