But a little bit of chopped parsley or chives on top would be nice, right? Looks great! I have 2 cans of chopped clams in my pantry I have been thinking about using, but I was thinking clams in white wine sauce over linguine (old Italian American style). The cans are big, maybe I can do one can for each recipe.
All out, dang it all! Next go around though, chives would be nice.
and I'd do both dishes myself.
I made Clams in my version of white wine sauce the other night, delish!

I had a small tasting bowl with the chopped up Bacon on top - meh - I think that the Bacon over powers the delicate flavor of the Clams.
:meh:
What did she just say?
That's right, I said it! No Bacon in the Chowder - I'll the rest for an omelette tomorrow.
Try salt pork tiny cubes, rendered.

Went out to Carrabbas. Got a 9 oz pour of pinot grigio and it came with a little tapas plate on top. Small piece of prosciutto, some fig jam, and a piece of parm. I shared with craig, made us a little bruschetta. Had their bread with olive oil and herb dipping sauce. Calamari for an appy. Craig had lasagna. I had their vegetable ravioli. Double espressos for afters.

Are they still doing that deal where if you dine in you can take home an entree for $10?

What do you put in beef casserole? Carrots, onion, celery? What else?

1 onion finely cut and chunky cut carrots
And 4 assorted sachets of stuff that looked good..1 sachet was beef teriyaki.
1 was brown gravy mix and 2????

Smells good wifes home in 1 hr
It's been slow cooking for 3 hrs.
First item on our shopping list for satay is red wine and beef sachets.
