😂 No blue flavoured food here.. yet 😂

It's tasty low level (4.5% vol) stuff so I can have a couple and get the food on the table in a good state 😆
I see some white rum and strawberry puree in your summer future...if you like strawberry daiquiris, that is. Or some tequila with sour mix and lime, etc. Possibilities are endless! It's really going to be nice when the weather warms up.
 
I ate my last serving of Panda Express to-go. I had ordered a plate with chicken teriyaki, orange chicken, and low mein noodles. It's a huge amount of food. That's 4 servings for me.

I have always wondered why they call them doughnuts. I get the "dough" part, but what's the "nuts" part all about? Did they originally have nuts in them?
According to Wikipedia, the first doughnuts here were what we’d today call doughnut holes, little fried balls of dough, which looked like nuts.
 
You had the FD and MrsT had the chick biscuits? How many of your fried taters did she steal?
Well, sorta. We always have to order two things that she would eat, then she decides once she sees and samples them. That’s SOP…I get the second choice, because I’m not as picky.

Tonight was a true halfsies - we evenly split the sandwiches. She took about a third of the potatoes, and I had one bite of the cheesy bacon grits, just to confirm I still don’t like grits, even those these weren’t too bad…for grits.
 
Italian sausage, confit of tomatoes from the last challenge, onion, garlic, white wine, pinch of red pepper flakes, bit of cream, S and P, and pasta water, Parm R, a little chiffonade of fresh basil at end. Very good for a thrown together meal. Craig had seconds, so I know he liked it.
