A little plainer than those. Just bread, lotsa butter and haddock. The last time I had them was before my mum died and that was 42 years ago.

I defrosted a chilli con carne today before I went to the snooker (won 5 -0). The chilli was the same as normal but my wife found some wholegrain baguettes as an accompaniment which were very nice.

My daughter is finally joining me on the healthy eating train. I told her I could make anything she wanted healthy. She picked fried rice. I delivered Bacon Fried Rice. Recipe to follow!
