Cider braised pork shoulder roast, with sauerkraut and diced apples (inspired by TR) on the side. I wasn't in the mood for potatoes, so I didn't bother.

The dining room in the new house has terrible lighting so please excuse - tonight I finally got onto the Korean BBQ I promised my son. He’s in charge of the fire and it’s always a HUGE meal with loads of sides/banchan.

What brand did you buy? It looks like a Swanson or Banquet.
He posted about buying Marie Callender pies in the What did you buy.... thread. It looks like maybe he cooked it in the microwave. I usually cook them in the oven because i much prefer the crust cooked that way. We have the larger ones for dinner sonetimes when we don't want to cook or go out. The smaller ones are good for lunch.

One of the few things you can't cook in the microwave is pastry...

Edit: I suppose there are quite a few things you can't cook in the microwave. You can heat up pastry that is already cooked but its not very pleasant as it goes soft. flyinglentris has a toaster oven - would have thought that would be fine.

Sauerkrat cooked, beans cooked, potatoes boiled. Kid turned them into mash adding cream...I avoid all dairy currently,so not for me now.

Today I did turkey breast fillet Schnitzel. Double quantity to bring over to my parents. Theirs with plain flour, ours with wholegrain flour. Omitting breadcrumbs, using flour-egg-flour to coat.

And a potato onion parsley basil soup, no black pepper, just salt.

I had errands to run for bith Mom and Dad, so by the time I was back home it was 3 pm and I was starving,so no photo of the finished meal.

I like the taste of the Marie Callender as well, and I too do them in the oven for a flakier, crisper crust. But I rarely buy them because the fat and sodium content are astronomical. It didn't look like Marie Callender though, odd shape and pale, doughy looking crust.

rascal, what don't you get about Muricans having potatoes at breakfast? I made crispy potato hash with caramelized onions.

Then topped it with a perfectly cooked egg (with lots of pepper). The potatoes had a crisp exterior and buttery, soft center that blended so well with the runny-yolked egg.

The flavor profile was outstanding! You could always try it for lunch :)
