Does IKEA round your way have a cafeteria? I sometimes eat them in there too. Now I realised I forgot to serve them with the Lingonberry jam that’s supposed to go with them!

The IKEA here in Frisco has a pretty large cafeteria. I've never eaten there. They also have a little snack bar where you can get two hot dogs and a drink for a couple bucks. I've grabbed that a few times on my way out to eat in the car.

Yes but it’s not appealing, due to the inexpensive food they serve it’s like a large crèche and has the mess that goes along with that and they don’t seem too interested in mopping up so I avoid it 😆

Well, I’m not eating it, but my sis just texted me and asked if I like sweet potatoes, to which replied, “Not much, but they’re sometimes good to use in other things.”

Then she sent me a reply saying, “But they’re so healthy for you. I eat them all the time!” - along with a pic of her lunch…a baked sweet potato covered in about a 1/4 cup of butter and a load of sugar and cinnamon as well.

🤦🏻‍♂️

I like twice baked sweet potatoes with butter, brown sugar and maple syrup mixed into the baked potato innards. I sometimes toss some chilis in for sweet/hot taters. Recipe - Sweet and Spicy Twice Baked Sweet Potato

Wow, I'm surprised to hear that. The IKEA in Frisco is always very clean, from the store, to the food areas and even the restrooms.

Same here - I generally go about once a year, by myself, and one of the high points is actually the cafeteria. It’s rarely crowded (I go on a weekday), it’s quiet, and I can get a whole corner to myself.

Is anyone having trouble using the site via computer? It works just fine on my phone but says cookingbites cannot be loaded on my PC. It's not my extentions/browser or ad blockers or anything, the site just refuses to load on PC.

It's working fine on my Macs.

It's in the wrong place.
In Europe and the UK Ikea like to have their shops in or close to city centres, wherever they can.
The area Bristol Ikea’s in isn't exactly the wealthiest and has a lot of families who happily feed their children there after school or take them there for the play area and children bless them equal MESSS

Friday, so no actual cooking - frozen cheese pizza from ALDI and a quick side salad.
