It is 8:30PM on the last day in June in Dallas, MG.

I put the Weber cast iron wok on the kettle, got it screaming hot, and stir-fried some red bells, yellow bells, onions and mushrooms in peanut oil. Seasonings were simple, k-salt, black pepper, granulated garlic and a dash of cayenne pepper

Just a quick iPhone pic. I had to keep everything moving.

There is a special grate for the Weber wok. It has a hole in the center, so the bottom of the wok is just a couple of inches above the hot coals. The resulting heat is WAY higher than what I can get from my kitchen cooktop.

Dinner last night was simple again because of the heat. Mushroom and smoked ham omelette and tomatoes. The smoked ham was the last of the big chunk we bought 3 wks ago. I kept in the fridge perfectly. Pud was strawbs and unsweetened whipped cream.

Chicken tenders and roast new potatoes with sauté cabbage and bacon, mash deformed carrots and yams as picture earlier. Pepper sauce. I'm hungry now.
