This is what I mean when I say I like to take a plain down home recipe and turn it on its head.

Last night was. Siroki Rezanci no 22 (large groovy ribbons) with bacon, cheese and cream. Pomegranate jewels and mandarins, the mandarins were kindly donated by one of our neighbors.

My mothers peach pie using canned peaches, and I added all the flavorings of hot buttered rum to it, including the rum. Soooo good. View attachment 51647

Milkers I can smell and taste it.For me the only thing missing is a bucket of custard and a garden trowel. Bravo

Tonight should be a Turkish style Chicken Pilaf, style because we forgot to buy vermicelli yesterday. Pic tomorrow.
