What did you cook or eat today (November 2023)?

No photo today, but we had brie, apple, and radish spinach salad with blueberry-honey dressing from Hello Fresh. Probably the easiest one yet, the instructions were along the lines of “combine everything and serve”. Which was appreciated because work’s been so very busy for both of us lately.
 
I think this pic makes the dish look a bit odd! It was nicer irl I promise 😆

Smoked Peppered Mackerel Dauphinoise that I did as a gratin to speed up the cooking time later. I used baby potatoes, a tub of crème fraiche and a large tub of double cream (as I like the consistency creme fraiche gives when piping hot) and a lot of Dijon and wholegrain mustard in the cream. I sprinkled black mustard seeds on top because it was too cold to go outside and cut any herbs 😆

I baked one of my mini pizzas for supper. This one had pepperoni and fresh basil on it.
