Usual weekend lunch

Smashed avo, tofu, chutney or senap on sourdough.

The strawberries were a little on the large side!

I got some farm fresh eggs, those are typically really good, from down the road and had the pan all hot and cracked an egg in. It had a rotted chick that fell out into the frying pan. So much for breakfast and it took *a minute* for the smell to go away.

Must have had a rooster???

Not the most successful of beans and egg on toast from my OH.

The colour of the toast in the bottom left and bottom right gives the clue. Most of the toast was left. I can't stand burnt toast. 😒
Can you tolerate it if it's scraped with a knife? I learned to do that at a young age because my mom burned toast pretty regularly. Why didn't he scrape off the burned parts?

No, I can still taste something bitter even through the sweetness of the beans. Even now half an hour later and several drinks I've still got a bitter taste in my mouth.
