Warm breakfast for kid, one of her favourites, soooo easy and quick to do. The homemade breakfast buns from yesterday halved, dipped in a whisked egg, fried. She dusts them with powdered sugar.
We do that with any kind of bread, toast...
There are different variations to this, French toast, etc, with more ingredients, baked etc...all lovely. This works for us at present.😊

I had coffee, almonds, some yoghurt...

Have some cleaning and laundry to do.

Chicken skinless boneless breast fillet

1) Schnitzel

2) paprikash (yellow bell pepper, less than half leftover red bell, onion, smoked ground sweet paprika powder
( aaah the aroma in the kitchen this produces is soo enjoyable🤩), tomato puree, poultry spice mix, some rye flour for the sauce and the leftover breadcrumbs from the Schnitzel to the sauce too...gnocchi (store bought).
Yum! Delicious!

I haven't been sleeping well for the last several weeks and only was in bed for 5 hours or so with very interrupted sleep wee hours of sunday. Got out of bed around 7 a.m., sat down on the couch to read some, ended up falling asleep for nearly 4 hours, so ended up feeling draggy and tired rest of day and didn't want to cook. We ended up with KFC again. We hadn't planned a special Easter dinner anyway, so no biggie.

I know the feeling very well. I slept great three days in a row at my sister's house, then last night I slept badly -- the night before I have to drive back to Dallas.

I will be worn out when I get home, so dinner tonight will not be anything cooked from scratch. I'm actually thinking about having a pizza delivered. I hate the prices of delivery pizza, but I'm going to be spent after driving five hours on I-45, so I may go ahead and order a pizza.

When we first moved here in 2004, two places would do pizza delivery to our house (we don't live in town) - Pizza Hut and Dominos. :(

As bad as that sounds, there were times where we just wanted a delivered pizza, so we'd order one, and it'd take them 90 minutes to get it out to us, and it'd be old and cold at that point.

After a couple of years, both places cancelled delivery to our area, so now it's make it yourself, or go get it and bring it home.
