Usual weekend lunch

Smashed avo, chutney or senap, and tofu on sourdough with a little left over salad from earlier in the week, and some supermarket strawberries

Dessert was baklava with vanilla ice cream.

It was a great and very tasty meal!

I'll be growing my eggplants next year!
eggplant is like zucchini - and okra.

one-ish plant is more than enough. in good conditions, one plant will drown you with its production . . .

as they develop - monitor them closely. you'll want to pick them 'young' - because older/bigger/etc are not nearly as tasty.
. . . and imho that's what (modern day) gardening is about - harvesting/getting 'the best' stuff.

Wifes home with covid. She made her own toast and I made 2 cuppas. I left hers on the couch arm..I had mine outside.

I hope she’s feeling better soon. I thought I was sick yesterday, but nope, I’m fine. I think it was just the change in the weather.

When MrsT is sick, I don’t really isolate from her much. I figure it’s impossible in the same house. When I’m sick, though, she doesn’t even like me to be in the same room with her!
