Yes, yes and yes, I was correct. It even seems to be popular to have ham and cheese. The sauce for baking seems to be cream and eggs.

There also seems to be a popular savoury ham&cheese filled pancake breaded and deep fried.


Fillings could include chicken meat, and chicken and mushrooms...

I'm not a huge fan of pancakes or crepes.
I like them on Shrove Tuesday but that's because Mr SSOAP get's excited like a little kid that IT'S PANCAKE DAY
I think his love affair with them comes from boarding school food's being dull and on Shrove Tuesday they got free reign with the sugar pot

Everyone else here loves them though, English, American or Scotch pancakes always seem to make them happy.

You know what I like? When you’re partway through eating some pancakes, and you press the back of your fork ever so slightly down on the top of one, and you see the syrup oooooozzzzze out, and then get sucked back in as soon as you lift the fork off again.

That’s like…pancake heaven.

No, don't get me wrong - I love pancakes with maple syrup. Not always, but often. My favourite topping/filling is cream cheese and guava jam.
