I didn't know frisee was an endive but that's green

BTW: Radicchio, while being a chicory, is not an endive. Red endive is a Belgian endive, not radicchio.

The common endive in markets is the Belgian endive. Broad leaf endive or escarole is often available. Curly endive or frise'e is something that I've never seen in the local markets.

OK, stores here frequently call red endive radicchio. I only ever eat Belgian or frisee anyway so I don't know the difference much
 
Its pink radicchio and different from the varieties mentioned above. Here it is with its friends. And very delicious it was too...
