BTW, I still think IHOP has great plain buttermilk pancakes (not those strange new/based on movie varieties). I like getting them with strawberry topping and sour cream (not whipped cream) on top.

Yeah, my DH got the plain ones because he had to order the "all you can eat for $5" plain ones (no special toppings allowed). I only go there for mystery shops. Usually I can get something I want but I had to get the pancakes with lemon oreo cookies and whipped cream on top.

I do like their savory crepes.
