They prolly do grow wild, but we were in an area that is good fruit growing area so people had their crops for sale as they make their money in summer selling fruit.
In Australia the bramble (wild blackberry) is considered a noxious weed and is meant to be destroyed. Blackberries from a garden centre assets another matter entirely and permitted because the seeds do not readily germinate. I would hazard a guess that it is similar in NZ
Back to answer the original question and my favourite is raspberry Jan. A nice low sugar version which allows the raspberry flavour to come through. Woollies do one in their organic range (called Macro) which is actually very good.
