What kind of music do you like?

After a retro evening I youtubed this.

A band from the 80s, all their members took interesting paths:

One became Britains most admired singer/ songwriters, a friend of my local pub, and someone who bought me a drink.
One became Fatboy Slim, the most successful British DJ and producer of this century.
One launched a faultering political career.
One ended up in prison for arson.
That is how a rock band should be.

I had no idea Fatboy Slim had a past life in a rock band!

I usually like to post performance videos whenever possible, but Zevon could be a little uneven at times, and I really wanted to show the purity of this song.

Most covers of this change “Smith Corona” to “Smith & Wesson,” presumably because it’s sounds more badass, but I think it’s grittier and more despairing with the original lyric intact.
