We recent returned from a 3 hour tour in Page Arizona through the Secret Antelope Canyon on Nation Nation Lands.
It was almost a 2 mile total walk in sand and dirt.

DH took off his shoes & socks and THIS happened! (It's a good thing that we always travel with a roll of paper towels)
BUT WAIT!
When we got back home, I took his shoes outside and I thought had hosed them down pretty well ...

There's STILL dirt and sand in there!!!

What made me smile was reading the title of the thread - Show Me Your Breakfast........it brought up an image of someone cheekily showing their tongue (for food remnants)!
