Technology, you never get a break.That schoolbus pic…I just talked to my brother, who’s a retired teacher (his wife still teaches), and I asked about snow days for kids and remote learning these days.
He said that yep, snow days like we had when we were growing up are a thing of the past. School calls a snow days, kids get remote learning assignments to work on at home. No day off.
He went on to say it’s the same way if a kid begs off school for being sick. They still get a remote assignment to work on…and the absence still counts against their allowed amount.Technology, you never get a break.

Didn't notice until we went to take a shower the next morning ... made inquiries at the front desk ... "we can change rooms for you ..."
We were leaving that morning!
