Don't usually partake in sales however I did pick up a new electric toothbrush for £20.00, needed 1 but cannot justify paying full price of £40.00. That made me smile.

I have had my other one for a few years and after being charged it only works for 3 cycles then runs out so needed a new one.

Bad luck. We bought our last one over a year before left the UK. With both of us using it twice a day (and someone using it for a double brush, not a single brush, so 5 cleans a day between 2 people) after 6½ years, we now need to recharge it roughly every 10 days. Can't complain... I expect it will stop working tomorrow morning now.
