This squad of Russian soldiers decided to use this elevator to go to the top of a Ukrainian office building. The building administration cut the power to the elevator, leaving them trapped. The soldiers were soon captured by Ukrainian soldiers. This picture was taken by the surveillance video operating in the elevator.

What do you want to bet they take the stairs next time?

No, they can turn the elevators off and on without actually cutting the power, plus there would be emergency backup lighting.
