I was bought a pint today by Paul Heaton from The Housemartins and The Beautiful South.

Beautiful South singer Paul Heaton pays for birthday drinks

It was at the comedy show at the pub across the road. He was supposed to be playing a private gig at the pub as part of a 60th birthday tour but had to cancel the whole thing. So instead he put money behind the bar of all the venues so we could have a birthday beer on him.
