They are a mild Japanese pepper. Excellent pan fried with salt and pepper. We grew some earlier this year.
I have some - delicious.

This one is red berries. I don't think I ever seen the original dry unless it's sold under another name here.Which Strongbow is that? I like the Original Dry.

No, we don't have one of those. The closest would be Party Source (which is massive...like I've gotten lost and had to have help to find the exit) and Jungle Jim's, which is pretty big, but not like Party Source.Hey TR, do you have a Total Wine and More store near you? That place is amazing. You would have a good time there.

Oh, you have those wonderful Swedish Anna's cookies in Lisbon, too! I've never seen the cappuccino version. Do they taste good? There are many other varieties for sale here.I was craving cookies.

I saw several recipes for serving them that way, but a side dish of whole charred peppers isn't that appealing to me. It seemed to be the only way people were preparing them. I changed my google strategy and came up with purées, dips, sauces, and soups pretty quickly, though.I looked up shishito peppers - apparently they are very wrinkly. They seem to generally be served whole, charred or fried in some way.See here:

Google search 'anna's piparkakku'
My mistake. I've just realised you are referring to whole fresh Shishito Peppers. What I have is not that at all but Japanese peppercorns called Sansho Verts. Something else entirely!
