What size and shape wine glass?

My wife once asked me how many beers I had drank. I said, "Just two."

They were 3 L each.

The two new glasses arrived today. Somewhat larger than our previous ones.

I couldn't use the pale green paper background as the glasses are 280 mm (11") tall.

I have used Schott Zwiesel glasses for years and the basic Reidel decanter. Both are very good, functional and durable.

Only occasionally and it is usually a full bodied red. It's a bit pricey here because of import duties and alcohol tax (the local stuff is really crap). A 700 ml bottle of Oxford Landing Cabernet Sauvignon would cost me ฿899.00 (about £21.00).

I've just discovered how difficult it is to photograph wine glasses. Perhaps it would be easier if they were full?
