That's funny, because kids usually like the drumsticks, because they're easy to eat since they have their own handle. When we were all growing up, we fought for the drumsticks.
My paternal grandmother's favorite part of the chicken was the feet, hands down (feet down?).
Personally, if I'm making some generic baked or pan-fried chicken, I'll use thighs, but if I tell the truth, the wing's my favorite part, but there just isn't much meat on them to make a meal unless I'm roasting up six chickens.
If I buy whole packs of wings, those always get used for hot wings (Buffalo wings) - that's what I get for having a NY wife!
But like the old song says, "Kill me a chicken, give me the wing/They think I'm working, but I ain't doin' a thing..." - that's me.
