What to do with lots of garlic?

If you have a surplus of garlic, here are some creative and practical ways to use it:

1. Roast It
  • Roast whole heads of garlic with olive oil until soft and caramelized. Use it as a spread, mix into sauces, or blend into soups for a rich, sweet flavor.
2. Make Garlic Paste
  • Blend peeled garlic cloves with a bit of oil to make a paste. Store it in the fridge or freezer for easy use in cooking.
3. Pickle It
  • Preserve garlic by pickling it in vinegar, salt, and spices. Pickled garlic makes a tasty snack or condiment.
