No, we turn the lights out and turn everything off except for a nightlight in the living room (for the dog) and a fan. We don't fall asleep with the TV on.

The closest thing I'll get to that is, very rarely, on some lazy day, when the wife is out of town, I might feel like a nap, and the one time a year that happens, I like to put on some Vincent Price gothic horror movie that I've seen a hundred times, then stretch out on the couch and nod off to that.

I loved the first two terminator flicks. They drastically went down hill after that. Most of the are unwatchable. I'll stream it at home eventually. I do love a good sci fi movie/show!

I enjoyed the first 2 but the 3rd was dreadful so I didn't see any more but I would like to see the new one despite it being panned by a lot of people. Will wait for it to be shown on the telly.

Lamp on, fire on (light only), TV set to go off after a certain amount of time (absolute' nightmare if I forget to put the settings back to normal when there's motor sport on), and a programme I really want to watch - guaranteed to send me to sleep no matter what time of day.
 
Tonight, it feels like Hallmark/Lifetime Christmas Movie Night. It's cold out!
 
I've been catching up on Jamie's Meat-free Meals (and that's by someone who can't stand Jamie Oliver, but the programmes aren't too bad unlike some of his). At present I am watching Charles: 50 years a Prince. I missed all this because I wasn't living in the UK at the time - in Germany I had no telly to watch it on, and where I was in deepest, darkest, rural Greece there was no electricity anyway.
 
We have just watched the documentary by Rich Hall called The Red Menace, very interesting and funny.
 
We're watching a Christmas movie about a woman who's a perfectionist control freak, and she dreams of having the "perfect" Christmas, like the one embodied by her miniature Irish Christmas village set up in her apartment.

Lo and Behold, she wakes up one morning...in her Christmas village! And every day is Christmas! And everything is perfect! Yay!

I'm betting by the end of it, she's going to realize that perfect is also boring.
 
Please do not judge me. I am a sucker for the BIG BANG THEORY. Every evening from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. I watch Big Bang Theory re-runs. G fusses "How many times have you seen this episode?" I ignore him and watch my show. He LHAO.

I watch movies on my ROKU TV in my kitchen. October was a bore. Zombie movies, possession movies, haunted house movies. DRECK. I am watching FOUNDER - the McDonald's story.

We used to enjoy The Big Bang Theory but it kept being moved to different times and days so we ended up losing track of it.
 
Tonight, it's The Christmas Chronicles, with Kurt Russell as Santa. Judging from the trailer, it looks like Elf, minus the Elf bits. Santa's sleigh crashes, and a couple of kids have to help save Christmas.

Now, if I were making that movie, the kids would succeed in getting Christmas back on track, but one of them, sadly, would perish in the effort. Give the story some weight, like when Doctor Who killed off Adric. I'm betting that doesn't happen, though. It's gonna be all peppermints and hot chocolate for these kids. 🍥 ☕️

I shall also be making kettle corn. 🍿
 
We were traveling across the Nevada desert this morning when suddenly it sounded like a Bomb went off under the hood of our truck tow vehicle.

So we had the truck towed to the shop. A simple but expensive and proprietary turbo clamp gave way and it’ll be fixed under warranty tomorrow.

Our trailer we had towed to a full hook up Rv park at an Indian Casino.
We brunched at the $10 Buffet. Not bad, crab legs, hand carved roasts, fantastic deserts and we skipped the free champagne. I really don’t booze it that much.
Then back to the RV.

This RV park has really good free WiFi so we’ve been binge watching Repair Shop on NetFlix. I’m sure you Brit’s are familiar with it but it just premiered here.

Major 2 day storm heading this way so we’ll be shut-ins.
When I was a kid I had relatives that were keen on their figurines, China flatware and cups and the like.

If an item became chipped or broken needing repair or exact duplicate replaced their were shops in the UK that not only did it but did it perfectly.

Dear aka expensive but the work was superb.
Kept me in fascination so I’ve been and will be binge watching Repair Shop on Netflix.
A sweet lady specialist has the skill down pat.

Also the two ladies that rebuild soft toys. Amazing work.
They remind me of that strict, a bit over-the top but cool aunt you’d have as a kid.
