Black licorice liqor in a Japanese cup. First time I drank any alcohol this year. Usually have a few drinks in november and december and then don't feel like it for at least 6 months.
If you like salty licorice too, you'd love this. But I think it's only produced here.As a liquorice lover I'd love to try that. Is there a brand name?

Dutch Dynamite Drop Liquorice
If you like sweet black licorice, a brand called Drop Shot will be preferrable for you.
Dropshot Drop Likeur
Yeah unfortunately I don't think it's available in the UK. Though have you ever heard of Greek Raki? That's an aniseed drink that also comes very close to licorice flavor, and is more available throughout Europe.I like the salty but can probably only get the alcohol at a steep price...

No it stays black but that's just black food coloring. The salty one doesn't taste like Raki though, the sweet one doesOh yes I've had that before - also Pastis (French) and Pernod. In fact I often use Pernod in cooking and usually have a bottle in the house. Does the liquorice drink turn white when water is added?
