I just hate the taste of celery...usually with food its a texture thing that causes me to dislike but with celery its the taste.

Since I've grown up I eat almost anything (bugs and insects excepted) but all my life I have never liked celery. I've no idea why.

My wife's the same with celery, I love it in a salad but can't put it in.

I love it. Happily much away on a stick of it. There's a head of celery in water next to the Sodastream and fruit bowl at present .

If so, it's not daikon.

When in India we would be served those long white (carrot shaped) radishes with Bloody Marys: I loved them.

Bloody Marys keep cropping up - it must be time for one!

Daikon sort of tastes like a salad radish, but it's shaped like a really, really fat carrot, and they can grow to be huge. They can also have a funky smell. I have more than once accused the pugs of passing gas or leaving us a "present" when I didn't realize Craig was prepping daikon.
