I thought it might slightly confuse American members - I think a majority of eggs sold in the USA are white not brown. But maybe that has changed.

Given that some of our duck eggs are blue, possibly so.

I appologise for effectively hogging this thread but I'm on my own on the forum for the majority of "my" daytime and I get lonely.

Anyway, that "what's this?" was the connection between my blowlamp(torch) and the gas canister. Not easy if you don't have a blowlamp(torch).

Yes - its actually raw in the photo (and can be eaten raw). Usually people cook it though.
