Correct! Its really quite fascinating. Impeccably well looked after which is not what I expected - I've been to many coastal resorts around the UK which tend to have a run-down air, particularly out of season. What I can't understand is how the extensive expanses of amusement arcades are sustainable. They were all open with lights flashing and virtually no-one in them.

A curious fact: I once stayed at the Derbyshire Miners' Holiday Camp in Skegness. It was, I think, in 1977.
