Whew! I gotta step out of this discussion. I suffer what I have always felt was food allergies to certain foods, but is likely due to the asthma producing sprays that kill pests on crops. I have read news articles about large cluster areas near crop fields where kids have a high incidence of asthma for exactly that determined reason.
These issues are enormous in scope and I fully understand your concerns.
I can't help but love food. I do. And I would get no arguments from others in this forum site that they feel similarly. So, I have learned to endure the down side of modern agriculture and food production. I cannot do much more than other concerned people do and raise the issues within the scope of legislative action. Those actions have been slowly making progress over the years and ameliorating the problems, as I am sure you are aware. But new laws are not perfect and don't cover everything that can produce reactive issues for people.
