The front lawn has had more.
It's already melting with a tiny rise in daytime temperature from 0.3°C to 1.2°C. But given that we've had 54mm of rain before the snow, it didn't stand much chance!

Odd to think such a colourful beetle is a relative of the cockchafer aka May Bug.

I went on a guided tour through castle gardens yesterday.

During my Sunday morning stroll, I spotted this fancy view: a couple of chairs in the middle of nowhere. Whoever he/she is, I like his/her crazy head. Chairs too.
