I'm sure it is, but I'm not in town.

Fines here are pretty high for baiting or shooting out of season or poaching. Neighbor at the top of the road, his (adult) kid got caught poaching and paid some godawful fine, like $12,000US and a few days in the county jail.

Yeah I know you are rural. I had a friend who was at a pub I the country
(Ashley hotel) he spotted a deer that had wandered too close. He shot it and took it home to cut up. It was the roaring season in a rural setting.
