Sunday's walk was just a little wet under foot

Lovely clear water, but deeper than your boots. Really needed wellies or waders!

Saw some pelicans out on the lake.

The forest is recovering from the bush fires 2 summers ago.

We used to camp not far from there (off down the side road behind and on the left, there is a pub and further on a campsite called red squirrels) over the Christmas and New Year period for the best part of a decade or more... we'd be out in those mountains almost every day. Loved it. Mostly the picture are all film but I do have some digital ones. Great climbs in winter, dangerous at times but fantastic when the weather snowed and then froze... views from the summits are stunning.
