Some pics from the holidays. This is Luso hotel, a little village with a really good mineral water spring, one of the best in Portugal. Luso is sold as bottled water but where you can drink straight from the fountain for free.
We were staying near Tentúgal, home to the traditional pastry pastel de Tentúgal, made with phyllo dough filled with egg cream. Here are the workers cutting the phyllo dough
On a different day, we went to Comporta, a beautiful beach in Alentejo. A nice surprise was that some dolphins, residents in the nearby Sado estuary, were feeding near the beach that day and we could see them in the distance
Close by there's this place called Cais Palafitico da Carrasqueira, a small fishing port entirely made of wood. Looks dangerous, but fishermen still use it. In this place the tide is usually very low and weak.
