I'm jumping into unknown-waters as I work my way through a couple how-to-cook books, so I figured I should have some safety nets in place.
I just picked up a heavy-duty fire extinguisher @ Costco for $30. Not Kitchen specific, but it covers ABC so it'll work great. It's refillable and has a gauge that tells you when it needs to be refilled.
Just knowing it's waiting at-the-ready under my kitchen sink gives me peace-of-mind.
