I really can't believe I spent the last three hours thinking about pie servers and spurtles. I need to get a life.

I'm going to spend the rest of the day saying "spurtle" as much as possible.

When the leader said hi and asked how everyone was doing, I said, "Doin' great, like I just got the golden spurtle," but I don't think it landed. I didn't get much in the way of surprise.

After 14 years, though, they know me. A year or so ago, I walked around for a few days calling everybody "baby," like Kojak used to do: "You need a file retransmitted? You got it, baby!"

I thought shuttle sticks had a 'cut-out' to catch the thread/yarn... just going by memory of doing weaving at Art College.
