I just looked on Amazon, all had cut-outs. Nothing looked remotely close to epi's "spurtle".
Does anyone know what this is?

I have a spurtle - I thought they had the curved blade, but apparently the 'definition' is variable.

Someone who knows such thinks said yesterday that the wood is sycamore, and that is typical for kitchen tools. Should narrow it down a bit!

The utensil at the top looks almost like it. Found out that it's still being made! Our mom had one. It was called a Thingamajig.
