I have one of her books bought second hand. It's quite good. She writes for the Telegraph I believe (which I try not to hold against her).

She does but also Waitrose, BBC Good Food, House & Garden and Radio 4 which as I type it I realise doesn’t make her sound anymore appealing

("Salt, sugar, smoke", "a bird in hand" and "how to eat a peach")

I have a couple Diana Henry books, too.
"A Bird in Hand" and "Simple".
I've found some good things in them

She's a sound cook, as far as I can gauge - bit lacking in wild innovation, perhaps.
At least she doesn't write for the Morning Star or the Daily Mirror!
