Potatoes. No other place for it. Safe to eat?

Can't find any potatoes in ingredients so posting this here.
Are these and other potatoes that have sprouted like this, safe to eat?

Sprouting yes though I don't eat the sprouts.

Any that need a little revitalising, i cut up and put on water.

Green and/or sprouting, no.

Not sure I understand. Potatoes are vegetables.
 
Remove the sprouts, peel the potatoes and eat them. Not a problem and not a risk.
If the potatoes are soft, then they've probably gone off ( and you need to keep a potato a heck of a long time for it to go off), in which case, ditch them.
If the potatoes are green, it probably means they've been exposed to daylight/sunlight, and the green is chlorophyll. Cut off the green part and eat the rest.

The potatoes and onions are stored under the boiler. There, there's boiler pipes which carry the hot water to the house. It's got a door and that's where we keep them. Is it a bad idea to store them there due to the heat emitted by the pipes? Here's a photo of the place.

If you see green it is as Karadekoolaid said chlorophyll due to exposure to light.

But it’s good to be aware that exposure to light also stimulates the production of a toxin that’s really not good for you (called ‘solanine) so best not eat them green!

Cold and dark is best for storing potatoes.
 
Also agreeing that I’d not store those there. I store mine in large drawer in an old cobbler’s bench.
 
And where is your bench located?
In my kitchen, which is the coldest room in my house.

When I was a kid, we stored a small amount of potatoes (a week’s worth, more or less, for 10 people) in our basement, but the main crop was stored in a mostly underground root cellar, in a large bin about the size of truck. We grew and ate a lot of potatoes!
 
Grandad would not lie down no matter how old or rickety he got and tbh it got to the point where he’d just get in everybody’s way and slow us right down on the farm, so the potato round was born.
We’d load up a flat bed with potatoes and off he’d go (with someone to give him a hand with the sacks) and deliver potatoes to the fish n chip shops and cafes town.
Stored correctly they’d last for several months.

WaterPixie you could get a potato bag and hang it somewhere cool, even on a peg outside your back door would be better than in the boiler cupboard.
They are usually made of hessian and lined with blackout material. Not expensive, you can pick one up for a fiver.
