Potatoes. No other place for it. Safe to eat?

My onions get counter space but my potatoes are in the pantry.

Onions all over the place , wherever I can find space
I still got quite a lot, but not sure if I have enough to last till the new crop.
I only have a couple potatoes, they don't keep very well in my climate
